We are on a Roll !!!

Thank you to all those who have paid your 2021 Membership Dues and any dues in-arrears! It has been a long "decade" of trying to get our lake and all its amenities back but we have had an amazing kick-start because of all of you who have re-joined our efforts and are being responsible neighbors to each other, our natural resources, and our Club.

THANK YOU !

SOME SPECIFIC "SHOUT OUTS" . . .

1. To the:

* Fluck Family

* Cloud Family

* Rooney Family

* Trommelen Family

* Davidson Family

* Sandoval Family

* Gibbs Family

For your back breaking work on Beach Spruce-Up Day back on May 1st. It was no easy task cleaning up after three whole years of pile-up.

2. To Todd Fluck and Ed Housseal for shopping and arranging for 25 tons of beach sand to be delivered to our beach.

3. To the:

* Fluck Family

* Cloud Family

* Rooney Family

* Sandoval Family

For more back breaking work spreading all that sand (still ongoing if anyone else wishes to pitch in 🙂). See pics HERE.

4. To Carolyn Cloud and Ron Davidson for replacing and re-installing the colorful beach swimming rope barrier. See pics HERE

** DO NOT SWIM BEYOND THE FLOATING BARRIER **

5. To Leslie Walker for arranging for summer water testing - which begins this coming Friday, May 28 by the way... (separate email/post coming on that topic).

6. To Ward & Leslie Walker for arranging for 5,000 minnows and over 700 Crappies, Blue Gills, Large Mouth Bass, and Grass Carp to be stocked back into our lake. See Pics HERE. See Videos HERE.

** IMPORTANT "CATCH & RELEASE ONLY **

7. To Todd Fluck and Ward Walker for shopping and arranging for a new beach fence to be installed around our property on Braddock Mill Road. The existing fence (if it can even still be called that lol) was sadly in need of replacement. Thanks Todd and Ward for taking the initiative.

8. The Rooney Family for sprucing up our entrance sign on Colony Lane, and soon to be spruced-up sign on Colony Trail. Like the fence, these signs needed some TLC.

9. To Jill Rooney for taking on the task of distributing Membership Bracelets to dues-paying families.

** ANYONE USING LAKE & BEACH MUST PRODUCE BRACELET UPON REQUEST **

Please do not be offended if this request is made of you. Not all residents know each other and not all residents are faithfully sharing their responsibility of paying their dues. As trivial as it sounds - it is not fair that you - as dues-paying members - must pay to use amenities that others are essentially "stealing".

Some residents are blatantly fishing, boating, and using UMLCC-owned beach and beach-front easements while being significantly in arrears with their dues and past special assessments. The Executive Board - upon legal counsel advisement - will no longer tolerate this behavior and will be addressing it going forward via law enforcement and the court system.

If you see non-members (residents or "outsiders") using UMLCC facilities, please feel free to ask to see their bracelet. If you are uncomfortable doing this, please feel free to contact any of our Officers or Trustees and we will address.

10. Please remember . . .

** ALL BOATS MUST HAVE YOUR HOUSE NUMBER CLEARLY VISIBLE ON THEIR HULL **
